These days, it is becoming clear that exercise is becoming a much more widely recognised treatment component of many health issues.
Through my own personal experiences, I have always been the first to acknowledge and boast that exercise has been, and continues to be my saviour. However, it is an incredible feeling to be able to impart that knowledge and experience on my clients.
Just yesterday, I followed up with a client who had been put on quite heavy pain and anti-inflammatory medications due to a lower back injury. After 3 weeks of completing a handful of daily exercises, the client is now off all medications prescribed for her injury, and is almost symptom free!
This helps to prove that exercise is a viable addition to treatment plans for physical injuries and chronic pain, and that movement is always the best option over medication.
